Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral Neuropathy is a growing problem in the United States but even more so in Central Texas and San Antonio in particular. Some of the symptoms may include: Burning extremities, especially the feet; Numbness of the extremities; Difficulty walking; Increased pain or sensation of the extremities;
Many times it is secondary to Diabetes but many diseases can cause it including: Thyroid problems, Autoimmune disorders, Stroke and injury other metabolic disorders and many other different diseases. Even Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Sciatica can have peripheral neuropathy aspects.
Lately in my office, I have been treating mostly patients with peripheral neuropathy of the feet with great results. All of the patients have had improvement in their symptoms! It is truly extraordinary! Recently I have even started the treatment on long standing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome patients with great success.
